From the beginning of time until now, Yeshua is the only person that God the Father has raised from the dead and seated at His right hand. His tomb was found empty, Jesus was not there!
“But on the first day of the week, at early dawn, they came to the tomb bringing the spices which they had prepared. And they found the stone rolled away from the tomb, but when they entered, they did not find the body of the Lord Jesus” (Luke 24: 1 – 3).

This miraculous event was not done in an isolated or secret way. After His resurrection, Jesus actually appeared to many, including; His apostles, over 500 brethren who were still alive at the time of Paul’s writings and eventually to Paul himself.
“And that He appeared to Cephas, then to the twelve. After that He was seen by over five hundred brethren at once, of whom the greater part remain to the present, but some have fallen asleep; then He appeared to James, then to all the apostles; and last of all, as to one untimely born, He appeared to me also” (1 Cor. 15: 5-8).
All of these eyewitnesses saw the risen Jesus.
The resurrection of Jesus is a historical fact and the hallmark of our faith. Everything flows from this, it is the unquestionable foundation of Christianity. Without the reality that Jesus was raised from the dead, we would still be lost in our sins and without hope.
“And if Christ has not been raised, then our preaching is in vain, your faith also is in vain. And if Christ has not been raised, your faith is worthless; you are still in your sins. Then also those who have fallen asleep in Christ have perished. If we have hoped in Christ only in this life, we are of all people most to be pitied.” (1 Cor.15: 14, 17, 18, 19).
Paul, being a personal eye-witness of the resurrected Jesus, was completely convinced that Jesus was the true Messiah. The resurrection of Yeshua became the overwhelming evidence that ignited Paul to declare the good news that Jesus is Israel’s Messiah. Paul knew without any doubt or hesitation that Yeshua was the way to God.
Thus, the Gospel that Paul brought us was not some “fluffy” religion who’s god is nature or some politically correct message that teaches that everybody is a “good” person. Rather, Paul boldly proclaimed that not all paths lead to the same place. Unfortunately, many today believe that as long as someone tries to be a “nice” person, they will go to heaven. Many around us have been conformed to this thinking.
Those of us that believe that Jesus is the only way to heaven can find ourselves on the outside and as one that is not accepted by society. The world says if you claim that Jesus is the only way, then “you are misguided, divisive, or a troublemaker.” But the Lord proved that Yeshua was the way by raising Him from the dead.
Being a solid, sold-out Christian will become more and more difficult in our world in the days that we are living in and in the days to come. It will become increasingly radical and controversial to insist that Jesus arose from the dead and that He is the only means that God made to enter heaven.
Jesus said, “If you were of the world, the world would love you as its own; but because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, because of this the world hates you” (John 15:19).
We need to stop being wobbly in our faith, and resist shrinking back from declaring the truth because we find it unpopular. Being comfortable or living lives that are controlled by a desire to be accepted by others is a snag and ploy of the enemy. The Apostle Paul and many others gave their lives for this message. They were steadfast to the very end. We also need to stake our life on the historical fact that – God rescued Jesus from the grave and He is alive!
Yeshua’s bodily resurrection is the defining event that everything that we believe in is supported by. As we embrace this truth, with absolute and dogmatic faith, we will become more and more committed to all the Father has said and will continue to say to us.

Faith produces “kingdom results” that flow from our total trust in God. It affects our lifestyle. It changes our choices. It alters our actions. It impacts our habits. Incontestable faith in a risen Savior will gird and equip us to be transformed into His image and become His voice to the world.
“Therefore we have been buried with Him through baptism into death, so that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, so we too may walk in newness of life. For if we have become united with Him in the likeness of His death, certainly we shall also be in the likeness of His resurrection” (Romans 6: 4. 5).
The resurrection of Jesus echo’s throughout history with a loud and distinguishing sound of victory! It is our assurance that each one of us, that declare that Jesus is Lord, will conquer death. Yeshua has provided the ultimate way so that we will overcome the world and it’s last gasp-the grave.
“WHERE, O DEATH, IS YOUR VICTORY? WHERE, O DEATH, IS YOUR STING?” (1 Cor. 15:55).
