The Shroud of Turin has long-been debated as to whether or not it is the burial cloth of Jesus. However, stunning evidence is now showing that this cloth may indeed be exactly what many believe it could be.

According to the Daily Mail, Dr. Jeremiah Johnston recently shared that blood type AB was found on the Shroud through a test dating back to the 1990s.

“The Shroud has type AB blood, identified as Semitic, present in only six percent of the population, confirmed as human and male, ruling out animal blood or a hoax,” Johnston said.
The blood on the Shroud was also found to be both pre and post-mortem, indicating that it is from someone who had been killed.
“You would have to actually kill someone if you were trying to reproduce the Shroud,” Johnston says. “We have pre-mortem and post-mortem blood all over the Shroud.”
The Daily Mail also noted that blood antigens M, N and S were found in the area of the foot, which points to this being human blood.

While science continues to investigate the Shroud of Turin, one truth remains clear: God often leaves hints of His glory and power in ways that defy human explanation.
