Michael Todd, pastor of the fast-growing Transformation Church in Tulsa, Oklahoma, has discovered how to use the internet to fulfill the Great Commission. We featured him on the cover of the June/July issue of Charisma. His is one of many up-and-coming ministries we have featured in the magazine over the years.
In fact, I’ve been told that for many ministries, being featured in our magazine has become a rite of passage—something I never expected when Charisma began 45 years ago. But it’s a fulfillment of my vision way back then to cover what the Holy Spirit is doing and to inspire those we touch through various forms of media to encounter the power of the Holy Spirit.
Since I didn’t write the cover story, I finally tracked Michael Todd down to do a podcast. As you can hear, he is empowered by the Holy Spirit! The interview was so powerful I did two episodes with him and will feature the other one tomorrow. Meanwhile, if you didn’t read Taylor Berglund’s excellent article in the print version of Charisma, it’s worth reading. It ran last April online before the issue was mailed. You can find it here. It’s just the first part of the article, telling the reader to read the entire article in the print version. But tomorrow I’ll post the other half of the article!
My interview was one of the most anointed in the five years I’ve reported the Strang Report. It’s inspiring to hear how Michael Todd never gave up even though he had lots of obstacles and little success at the beginning. I asked him to give listeners advice on how they can experience this type of breakthrough in their own lives. Then I had him pray. This is one podcast you won’t want to miss.
