Pastor Bianca Olthoff says “God dreams” are those passions in our heart that will bring glory to God and help those around us. Do you have a “God dream”? Olthoff’s was to build the church she now pastors, but not only that: She wanted to build 10 churches in 10 years, reaching 10,000 people. She says it’s a healthy practice to write out specific goals and pray for God to come through.
“Did you know that the word in Hebrew for ‘dream’ and the word in Hebrew for ‘health’ are so synonymous that translators sometimes have difficulty choosing which one to put there?” Olthoff says. “So, ‘Bianca, are you saying that my soul can be healed, my psyche can be healed, if I begin to dream?’ That’s what the Word of God says! What would it look like for your life to have a future and a hope if you have a vision for your life?”
