When a woman wrote in to Pat Robertson, concerned about a man claiming biblical support for gay marriage, Robertson shut it down.
“(The man) claims that Romans 13:1-4 clearly supports the Supreme Court gay marriage decision,” the woman writes. “He writes, ‘Since the Bible says that government is from God, therefore everyone must submit to the government. Even Christians. These verses will not only shut up the bigots but will settle this argument once and for all.”
But Robertson will have none of it, maintaining gay marriage is still illegal.
