The church is like a prism that will take one bright light source and disperse it into a rainbow spectrum of different colors.

There is a reason that, in the throne room of heaven, there is a rainbow over the throne of God: “God is light and in Him is no darkness at all” (1 John 1:5b, MEV). In that light, there is a divine light, a radiance casting forth different colors.

In other words, we have been baptized into one body by one Holy Spirit (see 1 Cor. 12:13), but every one of us reflects Him in a different light. It’s the same Spirit, the same Jesus, but through our beings, personalities and gifting, we display Him in different ways. In this way, we reflect Christ, together making up a portrait of Jesus Himself.

You are not here to worship by yourself. You are here to join brothers and sisters in that same expression of Jesus, and we are all different in giftings, callings and anointings, but no one is lesser or greater than another. Together, we weave a beautiful tapestry, displaying the image of Christ on earth.

Satan would see to it that you would get to a place of division where you would begin to look at others as separate and separated individuals, when in reality, we all need the body of Christ to accomplish the work on the earth. The Scriptures tell us that “By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another” (John 13:35).

The true reflection of the witness of the gospel is loving one another, yet that is the very thing many believers struggle with.

Chris Garcia is the founder of Father’s Glory International. Father’s Glory is devoted to promoting God’s manifested presence and power through the proclamation of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ is Father’s glory, and it is through the unveiling of the Son that lives are transformed. Chris is also a revivalist with a heart for the local church and serves as the lead overseer at House of Glory in Fort Smith, Arkansas. House of Glory is a Spirit-filled, fivefold apostolic revival hub that exists to cultivate the presence of God and the power of the gospel regionally and internationally. God is looking for those who will give Him a place to rest and allow His people to interact with His presence, power and glory. Second Corinthians 3:18 says, “But we all, seeing the glory of the Lord with unveiled faces, as in a mirror, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory by the Spirit of the Lord.” It is for His glory that we proclaim His name. Chris and his wife, Zuly, reside in the Fort Smith area with their three children.
