We live in a supernatural world and everything that we do has a spiritual impact. Every day as you walk down the halls at work, talk to an old friend or make a new connection your conversations and interactions can bring one another closer to eternal life in heaven or hell.
You might not see the unseen realm around you but it’s there, and there are influences around you pulling you to take the bait of the enemy. There are also angels around, sent to minister to those who will inherit salvation.
For as long as he can remember, seeing angels and demons were part of his normal life. Author of “The Veil,” Blake Healy is no stranger to the supernatural. “God wants to talk to us, He wants to reveal Himself to us,” Healy says.
Feeling alone in his seer gifting, he wasn’t sure what to do with everything he was seeing around him. At 12 years old, Healy’s family found a church that was strong in activating the congregation in the gifts of the Holy Spirit.
In a Charisma News video interview that you can watch here, Healy shares his supernatural experiences with angels and demons, and how that’s influenced how he sees the world and church today.
“We are spiritual beings, so everything we do has spiritual consequences.” Healy says believers can often over-simplify whether the TV shows, movies or content they are consuming is inherently good or evil.
He challenges Christians to practice discernment and refine the gifting within them. Instead of taking on what others have to say is truth, pray and ask the Holy Spirit to lead and guide you through the decisions you make daily.
We are called to be a holy nation, set a part for God’s glory. In the world we live in today it is easy to look at the fear, division and hatred spewing at the seams, but Healy encourages people to stop looking at what we’re up against and look to Jesus alone.
“Standing on what you believe, in our minds, is identify what you’re against but presenting the gospel and a true picture of love is so much more powerful,” he says.
You don’t have to look far to find someone who thinks or acts differently than you do. Healy shares a powerful story of a young woman who came to their church. Many could have found her appearance, attitude and demeanor offensive. In the spirit, Healy saw demons around her trying to influence other Christians to take the bait and be rude and make accusations.
In the interview you can listen to the powerful story of one girl leaning into the love of Jesus and how this young woman’s life was transformed through the kindness of Jesus. {eoa}
