What is the secret to ending all your sin and shame?

In a powerful teaching video by rabbi Jonathan Cahn, he explores the profound connection between the Hebrew letter Tav and the cross of Jesus Christ. Through this revelation, Cahn offers a fresh and compelling perspective on how the cross serves as the ultimate point of completion in the believer’s faith and salvation.

Cahn begins by explaining that salvation isn’t about external changes or instant perfection but about becoming whole. “When you received them into your life, it wasn’t that everything changed right, it was that you changed,” he says. “Salvation is about becoming whole… He is the Tav. He completes so you become whole.”

For Cahn, the Tav represents completion—the letter that marks the finality of God’s redemptive work.

He goes on to reveal the deeper significance of the Tav in relation to the cross. “The Tav is the end, it’s the final, it’s the last, it’s the ending,” Cahn explains. “What is the cross? The cross is the ending of all things. It’s the ending of all that is old, it’s the ending of all sin. It’s the final word. It’s the finished thing.” The cross, he asserts, is the place where everything—especially sin—finds its ultimate conclusion.

For believers, the cross is not just an end but the place where sins must be brought to be truly finished. “You’ve got to bring your sins to the Tav so they can be truly ended,” he says. “Your sins were meant to be ended… your guilt and shame are meant to have their ending in the Tav in the cross.” This powerful imagery reveals that the cross offers freedom from the burden of past and present sin.

Cahn also draws attention to the Hebrew meaning of Psalm 118, which says, “The stone that the builders rejected has become the chief cornerstone.”

“He is your completion… before He was in your life, your life was never complete,” says Cahn.

Ultimately, the cross is where all things—especially your old self—are made new and whole. Are you ready to experience lasting freedom today?
