On the surface, Jeff Durbin had a great life: he was a highly successful martial arts champion who even did stunts in Hollywood. But behind the scenes, Durbin was a mess. He was addicted to alcohol, ecstasy, OxyContin, Percocets and even cocaine to get by. He began overheating and going through all the overdose symptoms, and just as he was about to die, he cried out to God, “You have every right to kill me, but please don’t kill me yet. Just destroy my life. Get me out of this.” Immediately, he says, the overdose stopped like a switch flipped. He returned to normal and started pursuing Jesus.
