What a joy and honor to expound the Holy Scriptures, revealing more of Jesus! He is our abundant feast! In my recent interview with Dr. Brian Simmons of The Passion Translation on Revealing Jesus, we discussed how nowhere in the Bible are we told to read the Scriptures but to eat them!
I was completely geeking out to interview this mighty man of God because, if you listen to Revealing Jesus, you know how much I love the Word of God and our beautiful Savior Jesus. What a privilege to unravel Scriptures concerning Jesus with the lead translator of The Passion Translation.
I am a big fan of The Passion Translation, which seeks to restore the true heart of God in the Scriptures. By approaching the Word of God through the lens of love, the cross and the person of Jesus, we can see the true meaning more clearly.
“We want to read the Bible, but nowhere are we told to read it but to eat it,” Simmons said in this interview on Revealing Jesus on the Charisma Podcast Network. And, he adds, God wants us to eat it, understand it, process it, live it and let it transform us.
