A prophecy that once seemed unthinkable is now capturing national attention. Oklahoma pastor Brandon Biggs, who accurately described the attempt on President Donald Trump’s life months before it happened, is warning of something far greater: a catastrophic earthquake that could split the heart of America wide open.

Biggs says the vision came to him in 2024. In it, God showed him a “ten-magnitude” earthquake along the New Madrid fault line which runs through Missouri, Arkansas, Tennessee, Kentucky and Illinois. He claims the event would unfold three days after world leaders attempt to divide Jerusalem through a two-state peace deal.

“The Lord told me… You will see a three-day window. That’s the time for people to flee,” Biggs said in a video. He described scenes of devastation so severe that it left the land unrecognizable. Entire neighborhoods were reduced to rubble and houses “fell to their foundations.”

Biggs went on to describe a chain reaction of destruction. A powerful 6.5-magnitude aftershock rippled through the southern states, hitting areas from Texarkana, Texas to Oklahoma. Bridges collapsed, roads split and nothing moved on land. “They were not able to bring in supply trucks from east to west,” he said.

In the vision he saw military helicopters flying low to deliver aid to survivors. “They were flying so low that they were shaking the houses,” Biggs recalled. He said that all supplies had to come through the Mississippi River because every bridge had been destroyed. “It was so bad, I remember it lasted for months,” he said.

The Warning and Its Biblical Connection

Now, as President Trump has finalized a peace plan between Israel and Hamas after the release of the remaining hostages from Gaza, Biggs’ words are being revisited. During his speech before Israel’s parliament Trump said, “You’ve won. Now it is time to translate these victories against terrorists on the battlefield into the ultimate prize of peace and prosperity for the entire Middle East.”

Whether this prophecy will come to pass is something no one can know for sure but to outright dismiss it would be unwise. Scripture calls believers to “test the spirits to see whether they are from God” (1 John 4:1), not to scoff at prophecy but to weigh it in prayer and through the Word of God.

Earthquakes have long been seen as signs of divine movement and warning. Jesus said in Matthew 24:7 that in the last days “there will be famines and earthquakes in various places,” calling these “the beginning of birth pains.” Such events are meant to stir hearts toward repentance, preparation and spiritual alertness.

The timing of Biggs’ warning is also striking given its connection to the division of Jerusalem. The Bible is clear that God gave the Land of Israel including Jerusalem to the descendants of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob as an everlasting covenant. In Genesis 17 the Lord told Abraham, “The whole land of Canaan, where you now reside as a foreigner, I will give as an everlasting possession to you and your descendants after you.”

Throughout Scripture dividing what God has set apart always carries consequences. Joel 3:2 warns that judgment comes upon those who “divide up My land.”

Bob Jones and the Vision of a Great Shaking

Long before recent prophetic warnings began circulating, the late prophetic voice Bob Jones shared a sobering vision that echoes what others are now describing. In his vision, Jones saw a massive earthquake along the New Madrid Fault line, one so devastating that it would alter the landscape of the United States.

According to Jones, a mighty angel has been holding this fault line together, preventing catastrophe until an appointed time. When that restraint is lifted, he said, the shaking will be unlike anything the nation has ever known.

“There will be an enormous earthquake somewhere along the New Madrid Fault line,” Jones once said. “Six great cities will be destroyed. Among them are Chicago, Morgan City, St. Louis and Memphis.”

Jones described the destruction in vivid, geographical detail. He said Memphis would become a lake, and that the Mississippi River would widen to 35 miles when the disaster was over. The quake’s reach, he warned, would extend far beyond the fault line itself, with tremors felt all the way to Charlotte, North Carolina. He also said water from the Great Lakes would flow south into the Mississippi River and then into the Gulf of Mexico, dramatically reshaping the heart of America.

If such a shaking were to occur, it would fulfill not only Jones’ decades-old vision but also confirm warnings given by other prophetic voices since his passing.

Faith, Wisdom and Preparedness

So where does that leave us today? Somewhere with both faith and wisdom. We do not panic or sensationalize but neither do we ignore when a watchman sounds the alarm. We are called to discern the times, to pray over prophetic warnings and to let them draw us closer to the Lord, not deeper into fear.

Preparing for natural disasters like earthquakes, floods or storms is simply wisdom. Proverbs 22:3 reminds us that “the prudent see danger and take refuge, but the simple keep going and pay the penalty.” Preparation both spiritual and practical is a biblical virtue.

Whether this earthquake comes or not the greater shaking has already begun, one of hearts, nations and faith. The Church’s task is the same as it has always been: to preach the gospel, to make disciples and to remain steadfast as the world trembles.

The time to pray, discern and prepare is now, not in fear but in faith.
