Hope is the expectation that things are getting better. It is OK for us as prophetic people to see some things in the world that are broken down.
But we need to have the perspective of Nehemiah. He saw the walls were broken down but then he released a strategy of how to see the walls rebuilt.
In order to be a Nehemiah, we need to have a heart that searches for the good all around. What breakthroughs are happening for you?
Recently in my home state of California, there was a school board that said we will not put up with the decrees of the state leaders surrounding our children. It may seem small but it was a sign of a shift. As the people of God, we have to see the signs of shifts and celebrate those.
We need to be like Elijah who sent his servant to the top of the mountain to look for clouds. It took him seven times but finally he was able to see a cloud the size of a man’s hand. He came back down and told Elijah. Elijah then told Ahab, “You better get on your chariot. There is the sound of rain coming.”
That’s what we must do as prophets. We are to be praying and watching for what God is doing. Then we move to a place of declaration that what we have seen in seed form, God wants to do in a much larger form.
It is time for the hope-filled prophets to arise. Prophets that see this world is getting better and prophecy until others see it too. {eoa}
