The Apostolic Council of Prophetic Elders has created a joint statement condemning the recent scandals that have been pouring out of large Christian establishments.
In a video, Jennifer LeClaire shared the statement with viewers, explaining how this is likely just the beginning of God cleaning house.
“We have crafted a joint statement regarding what’s going on in the midst of the continued church scandals, and unfortunately, there’s more to come,” LeClaire says.
Pointing out the issues surrounding T.D. Jakes, Mike Bickle, Tony Evans and Robert Morris, LeClaire reminds viewers that judgment always begins in the house of God.
“I believe this is just the beginning. The shaking is here, and it’s coming. The great falling away is underway. I’m not suggesting that some of these men of God who have been exposed are falling away, I’m suggesting that we are in a dangerous, dangerous age, and we need to get on our faces and seek the Lord. Judgment truly does begin in the house of God,” LeClaire says.

The statement by the prophetic elders began with: “The Apostolic Council of Prophetic Elders has been praying and discussing the recent string of exposures of sin among leaders and movements. At our council meeting over the last two years, the Holy Spirit gave us strong warnings about judgment beginning at the house of God.”
One of the keys to this statement is that this judgment among those in the house of God is necessary to happen first in order for sin in the world to also be dealt with properly.
“How can you expect to deal with the sin of the nation and change it when you haven’t dealt with the sin in the church?” The statement goes on to say.

“Another admonition was given to us through the word released on April 20, 2024. There was a clear word given to openly confess past sins,” it continues.
The statement specifically condemned the actions of Mike Bickle, something the council has been thinking and praying on for a while. They believe that as more sins of leaders have come to light, this is the proper time to make these statements and provide the victims with a heartfelt apology. The council further encourages those who were earnestly part of the International House of Prayer Kansas City to continue in intercession as the Lord has seen their hearts.
The council further made it clear that all people, including Christian leaders, must be held to the same legal standards as others.
“We must understand that no one is above the law when it deals with sinful and criminal behavior,” the statement follows.
The statement also condemns the misuse of prophetic giftings, abusing power and harming others.
“The concept of ‘don’t touch God’s anointed’ has gone past its biblical meaning and in some cases, become a license for abuse,” the statement notes.
LeClaire also shared that any prophecy in exchange for money is not of the Spirit of the Lord, an act that has circulated in realms of the prophetic for years.
With the exposure of more leaders and ministries, this is the moment for all Christians to check their hearts and align their motives with the true Spirit of God.
