As conversations surrounding Bible prophecy continue to intensify, Pastor Jack Hibbs is encouraging Christians to move beyond speculation and return to the one source he says should shape every believer’s understanding of the end times: Scripture.
In a sweeping new teaching, Hibbs presents what he calls a “30,000-foot flyover” of the seven-year tribulation, walking viewers through 37 major prophetic events while repeatedly urging them to search God’s Word for themselves rather than simply adopting someone else’s interpretation.
“Don’t listen to people. Don’t listen to me. Go and see if the Bible is saying what you are hearing,” Hibbs says. “Become very familiar with the Scriptures… you will land in a place where you are firm and you are confident in your eschatology.”
Hibbs explains that the prophetic timeline begins with the rapture of the church, followed by the revelation of the Antichrist and the signing of a seven-year covenant with Israel, which he believes officially begins Daniel’s 70th week. Along the way, he highlights key prophetic milestones including the destruction of Damascus, the Gog and Magog conflict, the rebuilding of the Jewish temple, the ministry of the Two Witnesses and the worldwide evangelistic work of the 144,000 Jewish believers described in Revelation.
As the timeline progresses, Hibbs focuses on what he believes will occur at the midpoint of the tribulation, when the Antichrist will declare himself to be God, halt temple sacrifices and usher in the period commonly referred to as the Great Tribulation. He connects these events with the rise of the False Prophet, the image of the beast and the implementation of the mark of the beast described in Revelation 13.

From there, Hibbs says the world will experience unprecedented persecution, global conflict and ultimately the return of Jesus Christ.
According to Hibbs, Christ’s second coming marks the climax of biblical prophecy as Jesus defeats the Antichrist, judges the nations, binds Satan for 1,000 years and establishes His millennial kingdom on earth.
Yet despite outlining dozens of prophetic events, Hibbs repeatedly emphasizes that the purpose of studying prophecy is not merely to understand future timelines but to deepen confidence in God’s Word.
“Everything in the book of Revelation is explained in the Old Testament,” Hibbs says, arguing that believers cannot fully understand Revelation without first studying books such as Daniel.
He closes with an appeal for Christians to cultivate biblical conviction instead of relying exclusively on digital voices.
“Own a physical Bible… Start reading your Bible,” Hibbs urges, warning that technology can fail, but Scripture endures.
His concluding challenge captures the heart of the message: “God gave us a Bible that works with or without YouTube… Be looking up. Be busy about our Father’s business.”
