Right now, the United States and Russia are in the middle of speaking about making a peace agreement for the ongoing war in Ukraine. However, could these discussions have more to do with the end times than most people realize?
As Fox News reported, the Secretary of State, Marco Rubio, and Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov are looking for options to create the outline for a ceasefire and even for Ukrainian elections to take place afterward. While Ukraine leader Zelenskyy has previously denied that Ukraine would accept a deal without their involvement, America has promised that Ukraine would have a say in the wider context of the deal.

These discussions for peace, however, are taking place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, whose crown prince, Mohammed bin Salman, has been seeking opportunities to rise as a global power and peacemaker.
As Bloomberg puts it: “Saudi officials believe that positioning MBS as a peacemaker furthers the kingdom’s goal of becoming a middle-ranked global power that’s friends with everyone and pursues a foreign policy that’s mainly in the service of its economic interests and aspirations.”
This description eerily sounds like it could fulfill biblical prophecy. What also is intriguing about MBS’s unusual role in the middle of these peace agreements is that Saudi Arabia is currently “…investing trillions of dollars in a plan to develop the non-oil economy – dubbed Vision 2030 – and has an ambitious goal of quadrupling foreign direct investment to $100 billion by that year,” according to Bloomberg.
2030 has been prophesied as a critical turning point for our world, perhaps one where we could start to see a real shift in the direction toward the fulfillment of biblical prophecy. With the conversation of peace talks and the rise of new leadership, are we perhaps already seeing these changes take place?
In an interview with Charisma Media, Billy Crone discussed the qualities that the Antichrist will have, and what we will see occur during the final days of these times.
“The Bible has a lot to say about this figure in the last days,” Crone says. “It’s a global control over the whole planet.”
Crone notes that there’s not enough time in the seven-year-tribulation period for the Antichrist to gain full control of everything since during the middle of this period his kingdom will begin to crumble and it is then judged by God and Christ will return. Therefore, it is quite plausible that what is happening right now could very well be used, at the very least, to propel society toward the coming of the Antichrist.
