For decades, believers have pointed to a prophetic word attributed to famed British evangelist Smith Wigglesworth as a glimpse into a coming global revival.

Now, evangelist Daniel Chand says he believes that prophecy is no longer a distant hope—it is unfolding before our eyes.

Appearing on Sid Roth’s It’s Supernatural!, Chand reflected on how learning about Wigglesworth’s ministry profoundly shaped his own faith and fueled his expectation that God is preparing to move once again through believers who refuse to separate biblical truth from the power of the Holy Spirit.

“I heard of great miracles of the dead being raised in the U.K. and amputated body parts growing back,” Chand told Roth. “When I heard these testimonies, I was jealous with a godly jealousy of, ‘Lord, if You did it in the day of Wigglesworth, why not now?'”

As Chand listened to many people declare that Britain had become spiritually cold and beyond hope, he said the Lord impressed something different upon his heart.

“So many I would hear say God is finished with the U.K. and the U.K. is so far gone,” he said. “I felt in my spirit, ‘Lord, You’re not finished.'”

That conviction only deepened after Chand encountered what he described as a 1947 prophecy from Wigglesworth.

“I heard a prophecy that he released in 1947, to be precise,” Chand said. According to the prophecy, “when those of the Word come together with those of the Spirit, there will be a move of God… it will come out of the U.K., and it will be greater than the Welsh Revival and previous revivals. It will come out of the U.K. and spill out into Europe and touch the furthest part of the world.”

Rather than viewing those words simply as a prediction about a future awakening, Chand believes the prophecy begins with the individual believer.

“I felt the Lord tell me, ‘Daniel, may the reality of the Word and the Spirit be a marriage that comes together in your own life—not 50% of each, but 100% of both of them,'” he shared.

For Chand, that means Christians should reject the false choice between solid biblical doctrine and the active ministry of the Holy Spirit. Revival, he believes, requires both.

“I believe the Word and the Spirit and then action demonstrating has been a beautiful key in our walk so far,” he said.

Roth echoed that emphasis throughout the interview, highlighting the importance of the supernatural as a catalyst for evangelism. The conversation pointed to a growing hunger among believers to see Scripture not merely taught but demonstrated through healing, bold witness and transformed lives.

The church cannot afford to settle for either intellectual faith devoid of power or spiritual experiences disconnected from God’s Word. If the next great move of God is to emerge, Chand believes it will come through Christians who are fully anchored in Scripture, fully surrendered to the Holy Spirit and willing to step out in bold obedience.
