Underlying today’s headlines is the same ancient promise God made to Israel, which Kaddis illustrates by quoting 1 Chronicles 17: “I will plant them, and they shall dwell in their place, and shall be moved no more.” He stresses that if God were truly “done with Israel the way people say,” then “Christianity…would be a worthless lie.”
