In today’s rapidly evolving world, technology and global developments are raising questions for Christians about faith, discernment and the times we live in. Perry Stone recently shared his thoughts on several issues, from artificial intelligence to geopolitical realities, offering a perspective that combines spiritual insight with practical guidance.

On the subject of artificial intelligence, Stone views tools like ChatGPT as a “double-edged sword.” While AI can provide valuable information and aid in research, he cautions against relying on it blindly. “Even with AI, it will say this information may not be correct,” he explains. “You have to judge the information you use and exercise discretion and caution.” For Christians, he emphasizes that the moral and spiritual implications depend on how technology is used, whether for knowledge, productivity or entertainment.

Stone also addressed the growing implementation of digital identification systems, such as those being rolled out in the United Kingdom. He warned that such systems could shift control away from individuals, potentially affecting access to basic services, housing, banking and employment. While he recognizes the practical reasons governments may have for identifying citizens, he stressed that oversight and timing are critical.

The move toward a cashless society is another trend he sees as closely linked to end-times prophecy. “It’s already here,” Stone notes, observing that younger generations often conduct all transactions through apps or digital systems. He pointed to countries like China, where biometric systems such as retina and fingerprint scans are used for financial access, as examples of how society is moving toward total digital control. While recognizing the efficiency of such systems, he also highlights the potential spiritual and societal implications, warning that reliance on technology can be exploited for manipulation and control.

Regarding the Third Temple, Stone emphasizes that the physical building of the site doesn’t need to be as large as many think for it to be reconstructed. “A structure will exist there,” he says. He also acknowledges that currently, “The biggest [issue] is you have the Islamic mosque at one end and the Dome of the Rock in the center.”

On the political front, Stone sees government shutdowns as largely a reflection of partisanship and immaturity rather than prophetic events. “It’s like two bullies on a playground battling each other out,” he said, criticizing both major parties for prioritizing party agendas over the needs of citizens. He encourages Christians to maintain discernment in navigating political rhetoric and recognize that many of these disputes are motivated more by power struggles than by genuine concern for the public.

Across these topics, Stone’s insights serve as a reminder that navigating the modern world requires spiritual discernment as much as practical understanding. From technology to politics to global events, Christians are called to engage thoughtfully, remain aware of spiritual realities and trust in God’s sovereignty in every situation.
