When you boldly decree God’s Word, your words are saturated in the supernatural life and creative power of the kingdom. If you use God’s Word as a decree, you’re going to bring the miraculous into your life.
Brenda Kunneman wrote “The Daily Decree” to give people a tool for when they’re in a time of trial. During these times, it can be difficult to talk and pray well. “The Daily Decree” gives you a resource to declare a divine reversal to whatever the enemy is bringing into your life. This books helps you to not fumble for words when your emotions are attacked.
Some of the decrees in the book have to do with everyday life, such as having your energy renewed. Instead of using vitamins, drinks and fads, you can decree strength and energy. If you have a broken heart, there’s a decree that will speak to your circumstance, your heart, mind and your life.
One declaration deals with having no fear of man. Maybe there are people in your life who are intimidating, who have been rude or people with an overpowering personality. In our culture now there is a lot of division and attacks. Believers are dealing with more people challenging our beliefs. At times like this, remind yourself of Psalm 118:6 (NIV), “The Lord is with me; I will not be afraid. What can mere mortals to do me?”

We shouldn’t have a fear of man—the declaration is this:
We decree all fear of man is broken from your life, that you’ll not carry a concern or any manner of anxiety of what others might say or do against you. We declare all forms of intimidation, any sense of threat in your mind are driven from you. We prophesy that no assailant, no antagonist, no abuser, invader or aggressor shall ever be able to touch you or come against you in the name of Jesus. You can decree that God will save you from abuse.
Another important declaration is for having divine health resting on you. Jesus said by His stripes we are healed (see Isa. 53:5). You need to trust the covenant of God, that He wants us to live healthy, whole, long lives. Then you’ll need to do counterassaults against the curse of this earth that wants to break our bodies down.
You can speak healing Scriptures over yourself. Remember, God had to say, “Let there be light” (Gen. 1:3b) before light ever manifested. Sound precedes the manifestation. There’s something about your voice saying it.
Do you carry heavy burdens in your heart, your soul? If you’re burdened with problems and anxieties, then you can’t be effective in ministry to share the gospel. Jesus tells believers, “Take My yoke upon you. … My yoke is easy and My burden is light” (Matt. 20:29).
God can supernaturally remove burdens from your shoulders so you don’t feel weighed down. That might mean the circumstance in the natural is not any different, but the weight is not upon you.
If you want to be an ever-ready vessel, God can set up divine appointments for you. You may be a business owner who needs a good connection, or you could simply be going to the grocery store and want to share the gospel. A Scripture to decree is 1 Corinthians 16:9, “because a great door for effective work has opened to me, and there are many who oppose me.” A companion verse is Revelation 3:8, “I know your deeds. See I have placed before you an open door that no one can shut. I know that you have little strength, yet you have kept My word and have not denied My name.”
Do you have a current challenge? God can open doors for you. And if one door isn’t open, try the next knob.
We are in a critical season in the kingdom of God, and we must speak decrees, both individually and collectively with other believers. Brenda Kunneman says, “We have always known words are powerful. But a declaration is a next-level word, where we are making a command, saying something into the realm of the spiritual. We are saying, this is how it’s going to turn out—how it’s going to end.”
