A woman was arrested after hiding marijuana in a Bible and dropping it off at the local jail.
Monika Marie Ryans allegedly left the Bible with guards, asking that they pass it along to an inmate in a South Carolina jail.
The guards were suspicious, and had the Bible X-rayed. Inside, they found three smoked marijuana cigarettes.
The Union County Sheriff David Taylor commended the jail officer “for quick thinking and thorough inspection,” which led to Ryans’ arrest, reports Fox Carolina.
