As the Jewish High Holidays, Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur, open this week, Pastor Troy Brewer recently discussed the prophetic significance of the Hebrew calendar year 5785. Speaking from his church in Burleson, Texas, Brewer believes this year holds specific and significant meaning for both individual believers and the broader body of Christ, calling it a season marked by grace, redemption and transformation.
Brewer begins by explaining the importance of understanding the Hebrew calendar. He contrasts it with the Gregorian calendar, highlighting how God speaks differently to the nations and His covenant people through celestial markers like the sun and the moon.
“The sun is always biblically seen as masculine, the moon is always biblically seen as feminine,” Brewer says, pointing to the lunar cycle’s connection to biblical timing.

Prophetic Warning on Diddy and the Cultural Demon
In the middle of the arrest frenzy of musical artist Sean “Diddy” Combs, prophetic voice Joseph Z is sharing a word he received from the Lord back in May of 2023 about the celebrity and his influence on culture.
“I’m seeing all of this stuff transpire. You’re seeing this picture with these guys and this cultural demon is raising its head,” Z says.
Using his white board with the words “culture demon” written on it, Z bracketed the word, saying that this word is related to a poisoning. He also points out there was something “off” about Diddy.

They opened with a rider on a white horse seeming to announce the arrival of the Antichrist. The organizers, and not the athletes, seemed to cheer him on. Here we are in 2024 and the world is doing that even more enthusiastically. Not believers. We’re anticipating the return of Jesus. But the secular and pagan world is cheering for the arrival of the “man of lawlessness,” (2 Thess. 2).
