Pray for California as fires rip through Los Angeles and Ventura counties.
According to the Los Angeles Times, an inferno being dubbed as The Canyon Fire ripped through the area, burning almost 5,000 acres, causing residents to evacuate from their homes.

This Canyon Fire is one of many that has affected the state, including the Gifford fire where 100,000 acres burned. As local news NBC 4 Los Angeles News outlet reported, 25% of these fires have been contained.
As of right now, two small structures have been damaged by the flames, but there have been no reports of businesses or houses consumed by the fire.
This comes right after the year started with massive fires devastating parts of Southern California. As the smoke fills the skies and the flames continue to spread, we are called as Christians to stand in faith and intercession for those affected, trusting God’s protection and provision in the midst of chaos.
