“The heavens declare the glory of God, and the firmament shows His handiwork,” (Ps. 19:1).

Science and technology continue to prove that the world around us is much greater than we thought. Even more, it continues to show God’s hand in everything.

In a Daily Mail report, scientists recently found a new “galaxy cluster” and described it as “something the universe wasn’t supposed to have.

What exactly was that?

The Daily Mail writes, “…the cluster was burning five times hotter than expected just 1.4 billion years after the Big Bang.” This, ultimately, is a big deal to scientists because they did not believe this extreme heat was possible for such young galaxies.

The outlet further noted that the heat of this cluster could prove “that the earliest moments of the universe were far more explosive than previously thought.”

This sounds directly correlated to Genesis 1. Creation would have happened the instant that God spoke it into existence. When He spoke, and suddenly there was light, we can only imagine what it would have been like.

Researchers have predicted that this heat may have been generated by three distinct black holes within the clusters. Dazhi Zhou from the University of British Columbia stated, “We didn’t expect to see such a hot cluster atmosphere so early in cosmic history…But after months of verification, we’ve confirmed this gas is at least five times hotter than predicted…”

Time and again, discoveries like this echo what Scripture has declared from the very beginning: creation bears the unmistakable signature of its Creator. What scientists are now observing—unexpected intensity, order emerging instantly and power beyond previous models—aligns with the biblical account of a God who speaks and creation responds immediately.

Each discovery pushes humanity toward humility, reminding us that the universe is not random or restrained by human expectation. The same God who said, “Let there be light,” is still revealing the vastness of His work through the expanding lens of science.
