Season five of “The Chosen” continues to captivate audiences around the globe. For the cast, some of the most epic scenes of the show’s entirety have also happened during this immense season.
One of the standout scenes was Jesus’ triumphal entry into Jerusalem. With thousands of extras waving palm branches and chanting, the energy was enthralling. “It was so humbling to have hundreds and hundreds of background actors there,” Dallas Jenkins shared.

The season also explores intense confrontations. One moment features a proverbial “slap across the face” moment as tensions rise among the Pharisees and the followers of Jesus. Another dramatic scene sees the disciples walking into a destroyed marketplace, a stark reminder of the high stakes surrounding Jesus’ ministry.
Beyond the action, season five also delivers heartfelt moments. A touching interaction between Jesus and John echoes historical artwork, while a powerful scene with the women of the cast brings depth and warmth. Flashbacks add an exciting layer to the storytelling, keeping both the actors and audience engaged.
