In life’s hardest seasons, it’s often faith and family that see us through. The Robertson family of “Duck Dynasty” is walking through one of those moments, turning grief into gratitude after the loss of their beloved patriarch Phil Robertson. Their story is a reminder that when we cling to faith, even sorrow can give way to strength.

As reported by Fox News, Willie Robertson shared that the second season of “Duck Dynasty: The Revival” will feature a heartfelt tribute to his late father, who passed away earlier this year at 79. “I think it was such a pass-over literally because the show came out when Phil passed away … just within a few days of each other,” Willie told Fox News Digital. Though filming without him has been emotional, Willie said, “It’s sad, but I think he’d be happy… that we kept it going, especially the way the show has faith as part of it, the family.”

Willie emphasized that the family’s foundation remains the same: “faith, family and ducks in that order.” He admitted that priorities can shift in life, but keeping faith first helps hold everything else together. “The stronger our faith is, it helps keep our families together… when the family’s together, it can help whatever you’re doing at work,” he said.

Beyond humor and hunting, Willie said the new season is about restoring something wholesome to television. “I think it’s important for the country to see a family, to see a healthy family and to see joy in the things that come out of our family,” he said. Fans have thanked the Robertsons for showing prayer and unity on screen, even if they can’t experience it at home.

Korie Robertson added that from the start the show was never about fame. “We really kind of understood from the very beginning that this was something bigger than us,” she said. “We had that prayer at the end around the dinner table… and we didn’t do it because we had it planned. We just did it because this is what we do.”
