For Bill O’Reilly’s screen adaptation of Killing Jesus, a man who was raised as a Muslim takes the lead role.
Haaz Sleiman is cast as Christ in the National Geographic adaptation, set to premiere later this year.
For both the book and the film, “you get a much deeper perspective about Jesus,” Sleiman says. “And you relate to Him at a level you’ve never been able to relate to him before—a human level.”
