Dr. Michael Brown says there are many ways God can harden a person’s heart. In Exodus 4:21, God told Moses that He would “harden” Pharaoh’s heart “so that he shall not let the people go.”
“God can reveal Himself to someone, and they simply don’t want to hear it. That hardens their heart,” Brown says. “Have you ever shared the gospel with someone, and they tell you they are not interested, and the further you talk with them, the further you drive them away from God?”
