“Regardless of the [individual], Trump’s not God, Musk’s not God, they’re all human beings,” Brand says. “Is there a point when order of magnitude alters essence? Is Musk not just a reiteration of Murdoch?”
The Spiritual Implications: Can Play Be Demonic?
Brand raises a critical question: “There isn’t mischief and playing in the demonic also?”
If play is a tool of power, could it be used for manipulation just as easily as for liberation? The Bible warns that deception can take many forms, often appearing as light (see 2 Cor. 11:14).
