In a recent video, Katie Souza gave a prophetic word for the month of August which is a call to prepare for war.
“We are stepping into the next layer to peel back and assault and push back against the resistance that is trying to fight against us,” Souza says. “Seeing [the] full manifestation of everything God has spoken to us.”
This prophetic message comes from a vision that Souza had regarding the United States.
“I saw a map of the United States, and then it spread out to the world,” says Souza. “Sprinkled throughout the map and then the world were black holes everywhere all over the map. I said, ‘God, what am I looking at? And He said: ‘these are spaces in lands, businesses, economics, in stock market, in new projects, in churches and ministries—places where the body of Christ has not occupied.’”

Souza points out that the darkness in those places is a direct reflection on us as the light of Christ not going into all the different spaces that we are called to go into.
“They’re under the control of demonic spirits who are trying to hold that ground. But we must fill those holes with our light and invade and take new territory so that we can occupy,” Souza says.
Souza reminds Christians that whatever gifts, dreams and talents God has given us we must use for His glory. We are supposed to take what He gives us and bring Him an eternal return on the investment. This command to sow and reap for the Lord is critical during this time because we must be prepared for when disaster ultimately does strike someday.
“If we do not position ourselves now, when disaster arrives, we will not be ready on a firm foundation,” she explains. “The Lord wants the body to rule and reign over a huge variety of industry, businesses, economic endeavors. In this hour you must diversify.”
Souza gives some reasons about why we need to diversify due to the deception running rampant in society.
“You need to start realizing what God is breathing on,” she says. “He’s breathing on people that learn how to do stocks and crypto trading, that learn how to make homeopathic medication because we cannot be under the control of the pharmaceutical giants that are in the earth today. Those medications are creating massive side effects, deaths, illnesses…people who are skilled in natural food preservation. Look, there is food shortages that are happening right now…and they’re going to get much, much worse.”
Part of this preparation for war, according to Souza, is learning skills like preserving meats, canning and freeze-drying food. She also notes that this is a time of God stretching people to be able to handle and do more things without them becoming overwhelmed and exhausted.
