Another Megachurch Pastor to Leave Ministry for Unbelievable Reason
Another megachurch pastor is stepping down from his role, but not for a reason you may think.
Pastor Jon Weece of Southland Christian Church in Lexington, Kentucky, announced to his congregation that he will be stepping down in January 2026 with the intention of becoming a regular member of the church.
As the Christian Post reported, Weece has been serving with Southland since 2000, starting first as a teaching pastor before becoming the lead three years later. While some may question why he would choose to do so, Weece says his decision has nothing to do with moral standing, but rather everything to do with the emotional toll he’s seen ministers go through.

More Details Arise in TD Jakes Scandal
Another detail has surfaced in the latest T.D. Jakes lawsuit cases involving Duane Youngblood, who went on the Larry Reid Live where he accused Jakes of sexually assaulting him.
Now, Youngblood’s brother, Pastor Richard Edwin Youngblood, is stating that he also experienced abuse by Jakes.
As the Christian Post reported, Richard Youngblood’s accusation is listed in some of the affidavits which support his brother’s claim in a 167-page motion filed last week in opposition to Jakes’ defamation suit.
Prophetic Alert: God’s Warning for the Year 2025
Change is coming—fast, hard, and without warning. That’s the message evangelist Perry Stone delivered about 2025, a year he says will bring extreme shifts, spiritual deception and a test of strength for believers. Those who aren’t prepared could find themselves overwhelmed.
Stone has spent decades warning about future events, everything from 9/11 to major geopolitical shifts. But he doesn’t speak hastily. “I wait until I know I’ve heard from the Holy Spirit,” he said.
That time has come.
