Stephen Colbert recently shared on Faith in Focus about how he returned to faith in Christ. Though raised a Christian, the host of The Late Show says he lost his faith—”to my own great grief”—and became an atheist as a young man. But he says a stranger handed him a small New Testament, and he opened it to verses that immediately reached him. He says that was the first time he understood what it meant for God’s Word to speak to him. Colbert says, “I stood on that street corner in the cold and read the sermon. And my life has never been the same.” Watch it here.
