As Christian conservatives decide their favorite standard bearer for the 2016 election, Planned Parenthood seems to have circled its wagons around a candidate. It probably won’t surprise you who it is. Hillary Clinton has raked in 2,000 percent more donations from employees of the abortion industry than the next closest competitor. “The former secretary of state collected nearly $10,000 from nine individuals who work for the country’s largest abortion provider, including from several high ranking executives at the billion-dollar operation,” the Washington Free Beacon reports. That’s 20 times more than any other Democrat. Only Bernie Sanders, a self-proclaimed socialist, received money from any other Planned Parenthood employee — and he received only $500. Jim Webb, Lincoln Chafee, and Martin O’Malley — all of whom are pro-abortion — have nothing to show for their stand. According to Federal Election Commission (FEC) records released last Wednesday: “Vicki Cowart, the CEO of Planned Parenthood Rocky Mountains, Melissa Flournoy, the state director of Louisiana Planned Parenthood, and Catherine Valentine, general counsel for the San Jose-based Planned Parenthood Mar Monte, all contributed the primary maximum of $2,700 to Clinton’s campaign. Clinton led the entire presidential field with more than $46 million in total fundraising.” The Beacon added that Planned Parenthood has been a major supporter of pro-abortion Democrats in the past, having “poured $18 million into outside spending groups in 2014 and 2012, according to the Center for Responsive Politics. Most of its nearly $6 million in direct contributions since 1990 have gone to Democrats.” Hillary has earned their subsidy — promoting abortion-on-demand at UN conferences in Cairo and Beijing as first lady, then supporting the Obama administration’s foreign policy as secretary of state. In addition to multiple staff positions, Clinton’s campaign is largely enmeshed with the abortion industry. Even her Iowa townhall included a “typical citizen” — who just happened to work for Planned Parenthood.
