As Deadline reported, Lucasfilm has decided not to move forward with a second season. While it received a 78% score on Rotten Tomatoes, viewers didn’t take the bait. ABC News reported that the viewer rating only gave the show an 18% approval.
As Charisma previously reported, the ideology behind the show was centered on radical LGBTQ, race and feminist themes that are far from what most parents desire to put in front of their children.
The creator, producer and director of the show, Leslye Headland previously stated, “There’s just no way that me being a queer woman is not going to be reflected in my work. I could try not to do it, but why would I? It just feels like a natural extension of what I do.”
If someone who is so misguided and far away from the truth can feel this way about their work, how much more should Christians use their abilities, voice and work to spread the hope of the gospel?
There truly is an enemy out there that wants a hold of each and every one of us to be far from the truth of God’s goodness and mercy.

We must be careful about the kinds of things that watch and listen to because that is ultimately one of the ways the devil will try to snatch us off of God’s perfect path and plan for our lives that leads straight to hell. No longer are the creators of shows beating around the bush. This is an outright admittance of radical indoctrination. Writers have even confessed to putting real spells in shows like “The Originals.”
