Carrot Top Seen at Church After Hospitalization, Family Grateful for Prayers

TMZ X Post

Comedian Carrot Top has been spotted at church in his first reported public appearance since a serious medical crisis landed him in the hospital last month.

According to Parade, 61-year-old comedian Scott Thompson was seen on Sunday at St. Joseph Husband of Mary Roman Catholic Church located in Las Vegas. Photos TMZ obtained reportedly showed Thompson waiting in line to speak with a priest.

The appearance comes after Thompson was hospitalized in September following what TMZ reported was a suicide attempt at his Las Vegas home.

At the time, Thompson’s representative, Jami Schlicher, confirmed that he was receiving care and specifically acknowledged the prayers being offered for him.

“His family and those closest to him are deeply grateful for the concern, prayers and respectfully ask for privacy,” Schlicher said, according to Parade.

While we do not know what brought Thompson through those church doors, this is a moment when believers can continue doing exactly what his family previously acknowledged: praying.

Pray for Thompson’s healing and restoration, but most importantly, pray that he encounters Jesus Christ, receives the gift of salvation and comes to know Him personally as Lord and Savior.
