There are moments when the presence of God breaks into the earthly realm with such intensity, you realize you’re not just witnessing revival—you’re standing in the middle of it. That’s exactly what happened at the recent Arise & Shine Conference hosted by Five-Fold Church in Los Angeles, California.
“God amazed us and left us in awe by how powerfully He moved and the true revival that we experienced,” Lead Pastor Kathryn Krick says. “One person recently said their husband said it reminded him of the Jesus Revolution movie.”
Before the sessions even began, more than 100 volunteers were already ignited. Their fire spilled over into every corner of the venue. As the first session launched, worship erupted. It wasn’t hyped; it was holy. People fell to their knees. Demons fled. Bondages snapped. One unforgettable moment came when a young boy dropped to his knees, trembling in God’s presence. It wasn’t staged. It wasn’t orchestrated. It was heaven touching earth. “The people were moved to a deeper, childlike faith as they watched God touch him,” Krick says.
Throughout the sessions, deliverance happened openly and powerfully. Demons were cast out in the name of Jesus. Many were healed. Others were filled with the Holy Spirit for the first time. There were countless testimonies of freedom from addiction, torment and fear—things people said they had battled for decades with no relief, until the Holy Spirit touched them directly.
And it wasn’t just the young who were moved. During a Q&A session, an elderly couple stood to testify, and their words pierced the room. “This is the revival we have prayed for and waited our whole lives for,” they declared, trembling under the weight of the Holy Spirit. The room erupted—not in hype, but in reverence.
The theme of deliverance from generational strongholds surfaced again and again. People shared how burdens they had carried for years—shame, abuse, trauma—broke in an instant when the fire of God fell. No therapy session or self-help plan had ever touched it. But Jesus did. The Gospel was proclaimed with boldness: you cannot break free from spiritual chains in your own effort or strength, but through the power of the Holy Spirit, you can walk out in complete victory.
“I’d never seen this many people this on fire for Jesus and full of joy in my life,” Krick says. “And it was in the face of so much intimidation from the enemy.” And that spiritual resistance? It was very real. In the 40–50 days leading up to the conference, both the leaders and the church faced extreme spiritual warfare. Persecution, threats, slander—everything the enemy could throw to shut it down. But God had other plans.
The attendees didn’t just receive; they were sent. On Day 2, the impartation service brought an outpouring of the anointing. Many were so overwhelmed by the impartation that they fell under the power of God, weeping and shaking—not out of fear, but joy. By the final night, no one wanted to leave. The scheduled service ended, but the worship didn’t. “The people kept worshipping, so the worship team came back out to continue! Revival broke out on a new level!”
The testimonies are still rolling in. One woman wrote that she hadn’t been able to sleep peacefully in years due to demonic torment—but after deliverance at Arise & Shine, she finally slept through the night. Another man said he came skeptical, but left weeping, having encountered Jesus in a way he never thought was possible. Several attendees said they had fallen in love with Jesus “more than ever before.”
In a time when spiritual confusion and compromise are flooding the church, Arise & Shine didn’t just offer a message—it offered an encounter. A collision with the Holy Spirit. A call back to holiness and true intimacy with Jesus. This was not a celebrity-driven conference. There were no flashing lights, no smoke machines, no curated Instagram moments. There was simply the unfiltered power of God and a room full of surrendered hearts.
