Dr. Kim Maas says we’re facing troubled times across the world perhaps like never before. The COVID-19 pandemic, accompanied by other devastating struggles, is weighing heavily on people’s hearts and minds.
For many, their current situation feels like the enemy has hit them with low blow. How do God’s people respond to low blows from the devil? Maas says on her Move Forward podcast on the Charisma Podcast Network that Christians can come out of these trials stronger and better than before.
“How do we find courage in this troubled time?” she asks. She points to Hebrews 11, where we find the “hall of faith.” But this hall of faith would have been impossible if the biblical heroes of old didn’t understand the truth found in Hebrews 10:35-36, which says:
“Therefore do not throw away your confidence, which will be greatly rewarded. For you need patience, so that after you have done the will of God, you will receive the promise.”
