Beyond the feeling of wishing you got better gifts for Christmas, do you ever wish you were better on the inside? “It’s so easy for us to look at somebody else and see the thumbprint of God on their life and to say, man, God has gifted that person,” Doremus says. ” … Maybe you’re here today and you don’t know what that specific calling is [for your life], and that’s OK. Here’s what I know: When God calls you to something, He’s going to make it clear. … [And] He’s given you the means to carry out the calling. …
“If you don’t know what God has gifted you with, here’s my encouragement for you: Ask somebody. … God hasn’t made us awesome at everything, but He has made you gifted in some things.”
