Saddleback Church co-founder Kay Warren recently spoke with 100 Huntley Street‘s Maggie John about the day she found out that her son, Matthew, committed suicide after a long battle with depression. Warren says, “We were texting. He was telling me how desperate he was. He was telling me that he was going to kill himself. And I had been able to talk him off the ledge hundreds of times, but that night he stopped.” In the video, she discusses how her family—including Pastor Rick Warren—has grieved the loss and supported each other in a difficult season.
