David Grusch just took the UFO conversation into territory that sounds less like science fiction and far more spiritually complicated.
Appearing on The Joe Rogan Experience, the former intelligence officer and UAP whistleblower made a series of extraordinary claims about alleged recovered craft, nonhuman bodies, different kinds of beings and even possible conflict between them. Yet perhaps most striking for Christians was where the conversation eventually landed: demons, the Watchers, the Book of Enoch and ancient biblical accounts.
Grusch, who has previously testified before Congress about alleged secret UAP retrieval programs, told Rogan he believes much more information will eventually become public.
“I believe before Trump’s term ends that it’s all going to come out,” Grusch said.
However, the interview quickly moved beyond the question of government transparency.
Grusch claimed he has personally viewed audiovisual material depicting alleged nonhuman cadavers recovered during a relatively contemporary retrieval operation.
“Dead cadavers. Yeah,” Grusch told Rogan.
According to Grusch, the beings he saw appeared surprisingly human. He described them as pale or bluish-white, with grayish hair and form-fitting clothing. Most strikingly, he called them “very, very beautiful.”

The description eventually led to a comparison with the Greek gods’ appearance.
But Grusch claimed those were hardly the only entities associated with the phenomenon.
He told Rogan that colleagues involved in alleged retrieval operations had encountered the beings commonly described as “Grays.”
“The grays, yes, as well. Those are real,” Grusch said.
He also claimed he had been told about reptilian-looking beings, some allegedly standing more than 7 feet tall. In one of the interview’s most startling moments, Grusch described an alleged retrieval operation involving both reptilian beings and dead Grays.
When Rogan pressed him on whether the government had encountered reptilian beings alive, Grusch claimed it had—and that the encounter turned deadly.
Grusch further claimed investigators have documented incidents appearing to show conflict between different forms of nonhuman intelligence. He acknowledged, however, that what appeared to be conflict could theoretically have another explanation.
Then the conversation took a decidedly spiritual turn.
Rogan and Grusch discussed ancient accounts of supernatural beings, including the Watchers and giants described in the ancient Book of Enoch. They also discussed Ezekiel’s extraordinary visions and whether ancient people encountering something beyond their understanding might have described it using the language available to them.
Grusch, a Catholic, acknowledged that some Christian exorcists interpret alleged alien encounters as demonic deception.
“I do think like what you perceive as a demon is a certain class of non-human or anomalous intelligence,” Grusch said.
Grusch also raised other extraordinary possibilities, including alleged underwater installations spanning “multiple city blocks,” consciousness-based communication, mysterious orbs and even the theoretical possibility of “sentient plasmoid” intelligence.
For Christians, another question may be just as important.
As the UFO conversation increasingly shifts from strange lights in the sky to claims about nonhuman intelligence, ancient beings, consciousness and spiritual entities, discernment cannot be an afterthought. Scripture—not speculation, government secrecy or the latest sensational revelation—must remain the measuring stick for understanding whatever may ultimately come into the light.
