Minneapolis may be known for its bitter winters, but Sean Feucht and former NFL player Jack Brewer believe something very different is about to heat up in the city: revival.
Ahead of a Saturday worship and evangelism gathering in the Minneapolis area, Feucht and Brewer joined together for a conversation about why they believe this moment is about far more than another Christian event.
“I would have never imagined in a long time that God would actually have us come into Minneapolis at a time like this,” Feucht said, noting his family’s personal ties to Minnesota. “It’s not just about Minnesota. It’s representative of what is actually happening in our nation right now.”
Brewer, who played college football at the University of Minnesota before joining the Minnesota Vikings, described the moment as a call for Christians to step boldly into difficult places.
“I hear the trumpet is playing and the shofar is ringing,” Brewer said, arguing that God is calling believers to the “front lines” without fear.
For Brewer, however, the mission is rooted in what he calls the genuine love of God. He argued that biblical love cannot be separated from truth, repentance or the gospel of Jesus Christ.
“We got to do everything we can in our power to get back to the basics of the gospel of Jesus Christ,” Brewer said.

Feucht described Minneapolis as a city caught in what he views as a spiritual battle, pointing to cultural and religious changes he has witnessed there since 2020. Yet he stressed that the gathering is not ultimately a fight against political leaders.
“Our battle’s not against flesh and blood,” Feucht said. “It’s not against politicians or Mayor Frey or any of these guys. It is in the spirit.”
Brewer even encouraged Christians to bring Muslim and LGBTQ friends to the gathering, saying his intention is to preach Christ rather than push people away.
“I want the Muslims to come,” Brewer said. “If you got an LGBTQ friend that you know just needs Jesus, bring them on.”
And both men are heading into Minneapolis with expectation.
“There’s not a bigger place that needs a revival right now than Minneapolis, Minnesota,” Brewer declared.
Feucht said they are not coming to “condemn and slam the city,” but to bless it and raise what he called the level of “worship, revival, salvation.”
For Feucht and Brewer, Minneapolis isn’t simply another stop on the calendar. They believe it could become ground zero for something much bigger—a spiritual awakening that reaches far beyond Minnesota.
