He Heard a Mysterious Message in His Sleep. What Happened Next Was Remarkable

What happens when a supernatural mandate, a failed evangelistic campaign and one extraordinarily timed message collide?

For Rabbi Kirt Schneider, the answer became Jews.com, a striking evangelistic effort he believes God supernaturally placed into his hands to confront Jewish people with one question that cannot easily be ignored: Who is Jesus?

During an appearance on Sid Roth’s “It’s Supernatural!,” Schneider shared how a series of events ultimately led him to launch the campaign, which now includes billboards across New York City.

But the story did not begin with a website.

Schneider told Roth that in September 2023, he experienced something unusual while sleeping. He described finding himself in what felt like a highly charged “spiritual weather pattern” as a message repeatedly came to him: “Acts 2:22 tetrarch.”

When Schneider got out of bed and opened his Bible, he found Peter addressing the people of Israel and proclaiming Jesus of Nazareth through His miracles, crucifixion and resurrection.

“I knew God was calling me now to directly challenge Israel with the message of Messiah,” Schneider said.

There was just one problem: He had no idea how to do it.

Schneider’s team initially launched a billboard campaign directing people to a website presenting Messianic prophecies from the Hebrew Scriptures. Yet despite investing significant time and money, Schneider said the strategy simply wasn’t working.

Then came the moment that changed everything.

While meeting with his team to determine what to do next, Schneider looked at his phone. A domain broker he said he had not heard from in three years had suddenly contacted him.

The domain for sale?

Jews.com.

“It feels to me like God parting the Red Sea,” Schneider told Roth.

Eventually, Schneider acquired the domain. Now, he says massive Jews.com billboards have appeared throughout New York City, including along strategic routes traveled by the area’s Jewish population.

And people are responding.

Not all of the reaction has been positive. Schneider said the campaign has received antisemitic messages as well as furious responses from Jewish people who oppose the ministry’s message about Jesus.

But buried among the hostility are questions that reveal something much deeper may be happening.

One Jewish man recently asked Schneider a stunningly direct question: “How can I as a Jewish man follow Jesus as the Messiah?”

Other recurring questions include how someone can remain Jewish while believing in Jesus, where Jesus appears in the Hebrew Scriptures and how Jewish believers can reconcile worshiping Jesus with the biblical declaration that God is one.

For Schneider, however, this mission reaches much further back than Jews.com.

Nearly 50 years ago, in 1978, Schneider says his own life was radically transformed after a vision in which he witnessed Jesus on the cross.

“I believe I was literally transported 2,000 years back in time,” Schneider said.

Raised in an overwhelmingly Jewish environment and bar mitzvahed in a Conservative synagogue, Schneider says he knew virtually nothing about Jesus at the time. Yet during the vision, he saw what he described as a red ray of light coming from heaven onto Jesus.

“I understood that the light was coming from God,” he said. “I understood the symbolism and that the Lord was showing me that Jesus was the way.”

Decades later, that encounter continues to propel Schneider’s mission.

And with conversations about AI, cultural upheaval and the return of Christ entering the interview, Schneider left believers with an urgent reminder: Christians cannot afford spiritual complacency.

“We know that Yeshua’s last words to the church at the end of the book of Revelation are, ‘Behold, I come quickly. I come soon,’” Schneider said.

Schneider’s message was unmistakable: Live ready, carry the gospel boldly and recognize that the person asking questions about Jesus today could be the one encountering Him tomorrow.
