As America marks 25 years since the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks, Amanda Grace is declaring that it is time for a spiritual turning in New York.

On Sept. 10, Grace traveled to what she described as a “high place” in New York State, where she anointed the land and prayed over the state, rededicating it to the Lord and calling for a dramatic spiritual reversal over New York City, Albany and the state’s government.

“We rededicate New York State back to you, Father God, back to your plans, back to your purposes,” Grace prayed.

The timing was intentional. Grace carried out the act of rededication immediately ahead of the 25th anniversary of 9/11, a day forever connected to New York City and one of the darkest moments in modern American history.

Yet Grace’s prayer was not simply about looking backward. It called for repentance and declared what must happen spiritually moving forward.

Grace prayed against what she called the “ideological altars” and “strongholds” that have taken root across the state, asking God to tear them down and restore New York to alignment with His purposes.

“Let the fear of the Lord fall upon New York State,” Grace prayed. “Let the fear of the Lord fall upon Albany. Let the fear of the Lord fall upon New York City.”

Grace also pointed to what she sees as New York’s significant place in America’s spiritual history, declaring that “the covenant of this nation was forged out of this state, out of New York City.”

Her prayer then turned directly toward the government.

Grace asked God for what she called a “reverse edict” over New York, praying that ungodly plans would come to nothing and that a new “righteous root” would begin to grow out of both New York City and Albany.

But perhaps the most striking moment came near the conclusion of the prayer.

Grace connected the rededication to two major milestones converging in 2026: the 25th anniversary of 9/11 and America’s 250th year.

“It turns today in the name of Jesus Christ,” Grace declared.

She then prayed for “a reversal,” asking that destructive plans against the people would be dismantled and exposed.

For Grace, this 9/11 anniversary is therefore more than a moment of remembrance. Her prayer carries a call for repentance, spiritual warfare and a return to God at a pivotal moment for America.

Twenty-five years after the attacks that forever changed New York and the nation, Grace’s declaration points toward a different kind of turning—one rooted not in politics or human power, but in repentance and prayer.

“Father God, we give it back to you,” Grace prayed. “Do with it what needs to be done, Father God, for your plans and to give your name glory.”
