God’s power is moving mightily in one of the most unlikely of places: a bookstore.
In a powerful reel posted to Instagram by Kathryn Krick, more than 200 people came out to a signing for her new book, Ignite Revival, where many experienced the presence of God and were even set free by the power of the Holy Spirit.
In a caption on the video, Krick wrote, “God’s power is not limited to the four walls of a church.”
In the video, people are seen being set free from diseases, bondage of the past, and receiving an impartation from God. Krick’s powerful caption also stated:
Revival broke out in this bookstore!
In Houston, at the Ignite Revival book signing, over 200 people came for the talk and signing. How God moved in that bookstore among the people amazed us! People were falling out of their seats during the message and encountering God’s love right where they were in such a powerful way. Person after person was touched as they came to get their books signed, and I was left in awe of the tangible love of God that filled the store. Many were set free, some received impartation, and others were touched powerfully by God’s love. Hallelujah!
Krick’s next book signing will take place in Tampa, Florida, on July 30, and her next Ignite Revival Conference will be in Orlando, Florida, on July 31.

If there was ever a reminder that God refuses to be confined by human expectations, this is it. From homes and coffee shops to college campuses—and now a bookstore—the Holy Spirit continues to move wherever hearts are hungry for Him. What unfolded at Krick’s Houston book signing wasn’t simply an unusual event; for those in attendance, it became another testimony that God’s presence is not restricted to a sanctuary. When believers make room for Him, even the most ordinary places can become holy ground.
As reports of revival continue to emerge from unexpected corners of the nation, moments like these challenge the church to ask an important question: Are we expecting God to move only where we’ve grown comfortable seeing Him? Scripture reminds us that the Spirit “blows where it wishes” (John 3:8), often surprising those willing to follow His leading.
If what took place in Houston is any indication, the next great move of God may not begin where anyone expects—but wherever people are willing to surrender everything to Him.
