A newly released report from a Department of Justice task force is raising renewed concerns about religious liberty in America, alleging that federal agencies under the administration of Joe Biden disproportionately scrutinized traditional Christian believers and clergy.
According to reporting by the New York Post, the task force’s findings paint a picture of growing tension between public expressions of faith and federal oversight, particularly for those holding longstanding biblical convictions.
A 200-Page Report Raises Alarm
The task force’s report—spanning roughly 200 pages—details 14 key findings related to what it describes as anti-Christian bias within federal institutions.

Among its most striking conclusions is the claim that while private religious belief was allowed, the administration did “aggressive prosecutions” for those with “traditional biblical views.”
Surveillance Concerns Involving Clergy
One of the most controversial aspects of the report centers on alleged surveillance of religious leaders.
According to the findings cited by the New York Post, federal authorities—including the FBI—investigated a Catholic priest and monitored a broader religious group. The report indicates that officials went as far as to keep tabs on clergy, raising alarms among religious freedom advocates.
“The Biden Administration generally tolerated religious beliefs that were privately held but zealously pursued actions to limit Christians’ ability to act in accordance with their faith,” the report noted.
A Nation at a Crossroads
The deeper issue happening in this scenario reaches beyond politics. At its heart lies a defining question for the nation: Will religious freedom remain a protected cornerstone, or will it gradually be confined to private spaces?
For Christians, this moment serves as a sobering reminder that faith has often been tested in times of cultural pressure. As these revelations spark discussion across the country, many see this as a pivotal moment—not just for policy, but for the witness of the Church.
In an era marked by uncertainty, the call remains clear: to live boldly, faithfully and unwaveringly in the truth.
