Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, president of the Republic of Turkey, has issued a direct warning that Turkey could take military action against Israel, escalating the Turkey-Israel conflict as Turkish troops in Syria remain positioned along Israel’s northern border.
Speaking at a conference in Istanbul, Erdoğan declared, “We will do the same to them,” referencing past Turkish military operations, and added, “There is nothing to prevent us from doing it,” as reported by GB News.
He also accused Benjamin Netanyahu, the prime minister of Israel, of being “blinded by blood and hatred,” while describing Israeli actions as “barbaric.”
