In a rapid-fire Q&A session, Pastor Jack Hibbs sat down to answer some of the most pressing—and often controversial—questions believers are asking today.
1. A Glorified Body, Not a “New Corpse”
One of the first questions tackled a common misunderstanding about eternity.
“You’re not going to get a new corpse because a corpse is dead,” he said. “You’re going to get a new living body.”
Citing Jesus’ resurrection, he explained that believers will receive glorified bodies, just like Christ’s. “To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord,” he said, noting that at the resurrection, “my body is going to meet my spirit… and that’s a glorified state.”
2. Ezekiel 38 vs. Armageddon: Not the Same Battle
Addressing end-times confusion, Hibbs made a sharp distinction between two often-mixed prophecies.
“Ezekiel 38… is a surprise attack against Israel,” he explained, led by Gog and a limited group of nations. “It’s not Armageddon.”
By contrast, “the battle of Armageddon… has to deal with the nations of the world” and occurs near the end of the tribulation.
3. Is There Hope After the Rapture?
Perhaps one of the most sobering moments came when discussing salvation after the rapture.
“Those who know the gospel right now… but they don’t believe it,” he warned, “will not be able to believe because God will send them strong delusion.”
However, he noted that Revelation speaks of “a great number… too numerous to count” who will be saved during the Tribulation. Still, his warning was clear: “If you’ve got a chance to receive the gospel now… You better believe it now and repent.”
4. The Rapture Could Happen at Any Moment
When asked what must happen before Christ returns, his answer was direct:
“Nothing needs to happen for the rapture to take place. It could happen any second now.”
He emphasized the doctrine of imminence, explaining that while the Second Coming has many prophetic signs, “the rapture has no warnings… no prerequisites.”
5. Are We in the Tribulation Now?
For those claiming we are already in the Tribulation, he pushed back strongly.
“Where’s the Antichrist? Where’s the mark of the beast? Where’s 666?” he asked. “We are not in the tribulation period.”

According to Hibbs, such claims come from “a lack of understanding concerning the Bible.”
6. What Is the “Strong Delusion”?
Expanding further, he explained that this delusion comes after the rapture.
“Those that were fiddling around with the gospel… there’s going to be a thought process in them that they will deny Christ completely,” he said. “God will send them strong delusion because they had a chance… and they refused.”
7. The Truth About Being “Chosen”
Addressing fears about predestination, he clarified that God’s choosing is rooted in foreknowledge.
“He gives everyone the opportunity to believe,” he said. “Those who… would say yes… those become the chosen.”
8. Apostasy vs. Backsliding
He also drew a crucial distinction between two often-confused terms.
“An apostate is someone who claimed to believe… but never really did,” he explained. “A backslidden person… is in the family of God, but… not walking right with God.”
9. Israel Still Matters
In a strong defense of biblical Israel, Hibbs warned against modern skepticism.
“God has chosen the Jewish people,” he said. “If you can get Israel… to not exist, then Christ cannot come back and the Bible is false.”
As the world grows louder with speculation and uncertainty, Hibbs brings the focus back to what matters most: being ready.
In a time when deception is rising, and truth is increasingly blurred, this message cuts through the noise with urgency: don’t just study prophecy—respond to it. Because when that moment comes, there will be no rehearsal, no warning, and no second chance for those who have heard and turned away.
