When Kim Clement stood on a platform in Paris on Nov. 14, 2010, the Middle East looked nothing like it does today. Yet the words he spoke that night are now circulating across social media with a sense of urgency that is hard to dismiss.
Speaking at a prophetic gathering in Paris, Clement declared:
But Europe will be affected. And the same way that Daniel was praying, there was a war in the heavenlies — Prince of Persia. There was a battle going on as there is today. And France shall join forces with Great Britain and some other nations. There will be a war. It shall be a short war. Hear me please. This war — and I’m not talking about a spiritual war — a war will take place. It shall be short-lived because as France destroyed the power of invasion from the Middle East in the seventh century, so shall it rise up and destroy the invading forces or the beast of the east, and they will overcome an agreement between Russia and Iran.
Fast forward to March 19, 2026. A joint statement was issued by leaders of the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Japan and more than 20 other nations pledging support to secure the Strait of Hormuz — the vital waterway carrying roughly 20 percent of the world’s oil supply, now under direct threat from Iran. The alignment of nations is nearly point-for-point what Clement named on that Paris stage.
“The Beast of the East”
What makes Clement’s prophecies particularly striking is that they went beyond geopolitics. He identified the conflict not merely as a regional war but as an ideological and spiritual collision. He also named the enemy directly.
Three days before the Paris gathering, on Nov. 11, 2010, Clement delivered a separate prophecy in the Netherlands. In that message, he said:
Now there is a storm brewing, says the Lord, but this is not a natural one. And God said there will be a great massive fight. Just one war. One war shall manifest in four different countries. The beast of the east who has said we will remove Christianity in total — in total — from Europe, America, Israel. We will remove their God and we will bring Allah. There is a storm brewing. But God says, “I have already prepared the angels. I have already prepared an outpouring and that which is dying shall suddenly come back to life.”
Clement framed the entire conflict as a spiritual campaign aimed at the erasure of Christianity from Western civilization. He then addressed the nations in the room directly — nations now appearing in the same joint statement on the Strait of Hormuz:
Italy… Germany… France… You made an alliance. You were an ally to the Third Reich. There is a fourth one arising from the east to take over your streets, to take over your children and remove Jesus. But the spirit of God said truth will prevail. A cause will not prevail and the people will begin to arise from the streets.
He went on to prophesy a spiritual outpouring across Europe, declaring that places of pain would become places of revival.
Estonia: The Stone in David’s Sling
Perhaps the most unexpected detail in Clement’s prophetic record is the one that has stunned even longtime followers of his ministry.
In March 2014 — more than a decade before the current conflict — Clement called out a nation that most Americans had never heard of. Speaking March 20 in Camarillo, Calif., he declared:
Russia, Ukraine, Poland, Germany, Estonia — you shall be the troublemaker. You shall reckon Putin who claims himself as a czar to bring back a system of control and pain and suppression. I laugh at you. When all the nations stand before me now without intelligence, without understanding, they know nothing.
Nine days later, on March 29, he returned to Estonia with even greater specificity:
Estonia. Estonia. Full of light…The little nation that will bring the stone to the head of Goliath. I prophesy — light, light, victory, salvation. Your kingdom come. Your kingdom come. Your kingdom come.
In March 2026, Estonia’s foreign minister stepped forward before most of Europe’s larger nations had committed, stating that the country was “ready to discuss participation” in a U.S.-led mission to secure the strait and offering what the minister described as “some maybe specific capabilities.” It was a small nation stepping into a global moment — much as Clement had described.

A Short War — and a Reformation
Consistent across Clement’s prophecies on this subject is his insistence that the conflict would not spiral into a prolonged engagement. Closing the Paris prophecy, he said:
They will only win because I placed this house on the soil of France, and because of your words the battle shall be won in the heavenlies, says the Lord… Now don’t get frightened. We have an enemy that wants to invade, take Christ out of Europe. Sitting on the front row here, there’s a pastor from the Netherlands and a pastor from England. They represent the soil and the territories. God is going to pour out his spirit. Germany will be included, Italy — there shall be a great move of the Spirit.
And beyond the conflict itself, Clement saw a sweeping spiritual awakening rising from the nations now standing together:
God said there’s going to be a reformation, but this time God said, “I’ll use Germany. I’ll use Italy. Yes, I’ll use Holland, the Netherlands. I’ll use France. They will stand and they will stand against the spirit — and that will be the countries that I’ll begin a great reformation and there will be an abolishment of the laws of men and your young men and young women shall rise, rise, rise and shout, shout, shout.”
Scripture tells us in Ephesians 6:12 that “we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers,” pointing to a deeper conflict beneath the surface of global events. The urgency of the hour is clear: the church must awaken, stand firm in truth and recognize the times we are in.
