Was a harbinger of judgment just seen in the skies of Israel?
In powerful social media posts shared on X, video footage can be seen of a large murder of crows swarming the city of Tel Aviv.

Another social media post compared this to the end times.
Thousands of crows descended on Tel Aviv this week, and the internet has decided the apocalypse has arrived.
The footage is real. The birds are real. And to millions of people watching from a safe distance, they are a message.
In the Book of Revelation, carrion birds circle the battlefield after the final war. In Norse mythology, Odin’s ravens fly ahead of slaughter. In nearly every ancient tradition that has ever tried to read the sky, a mass of black wings over a city means one thing.

Now the question is, could this actually be a symbol of a coming judgment?
Scripture reminds us that God has long used signs in creation to awaken hearts to spiritual realities. In the book of Revelation, the apostle John records a sobering vision: “Then I saw an angel standing in the sun… ‘Come, gather together for the great supper of God, that you may eat the flesh of kings…’” (Rev. 19:17–18, NKJV). It is a haunting picture of birds summoned in the aftermath of divine judgment.

Likewise, the book of Isaiah describes lands overtaken after judgment, where “the birds of prey will all spend the summer on them, and all the beasts of the earth will winter on them” (Isa. 18:6), and again in Isaiah 34:11, where desolation leaves territories inhabited by unclean birds. These are not random details—they are prophetic patterns pointing to the certainty of God’s justice.
When the skies themselves seem to speak, it should cause us to pause—not just in curiosity, but in sober reflection of the times we are living in. The same God who warns through signs is the One who calls people to repentance and redemption through Christ.
Moments like this should move us beyond speculation into intercession—for Israel, for the nations and for hearts to turn back to God.
