As The United States and Israel have sent strikes against Iran, there not only is a physical war brewing, but one that speaks of a deeper spiritual war.
In a statement posted to social media, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu wrote:
My brothers and sisters, citizens of Israel, just an hour ago, Israel and the United States embarked on an operation to remove the existential threat posed by the terrorist regime in Iran.
I thank our great friend, President Donald Trump, for his historic leadership.
For 47 years, the Ayatollahs’ regime has chanted “Death to Israel,” “Death to America.” It has spilled our blood, murdered many Americans, and massacred its own people.
This murderous terrorist regime must not be allowed to arm itself with nuclear weapons that would enable it to threaten all of humanity…

President Trump also made his announcement of Operation Epic Fury, stating:
To the members of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard, the armed forces, and all of the police, I say tonight that you must lay down your weapons and have complete immunity. Or, in the alternative, face certain death.
So lay down your arms. You will be treated fairly with total immunity, or you will face certain death.

It was even reported that Israel may have hacked into the prayer app in Iran, sharing that help was coming to break from the oppressive Iranian regime. The Jerusalem Post also noted that the Iranian Ayatollah Khamenei’s compound was destroyed via an Israeli airstrike.

As Israel and America work together to put an end to Iran’s Islamic ruling powers, is this perhaps part of a spiritual battle?
The connection between Iran and the October 7 attacks in Israel to what we now see playing out in front of our eyes is undeniable. In Jonathan Cahn’s The Dragon’s Prophecy, he writes:
Could Iran have also played a part in the October 7 invasion of Israel? The answer is yes, and more so than any other nation. Iran’s part in sponsoring and arming Hamas cannot be overstated. In many ways it was the shadow power behind it all…
Without Iran, the Paras prophesied of in Ezekiel 38, the invasion of October 7 could never have taken place.
The same nations prophesied of in Ezekiel to wage war against a resurrected Israel have, as of October 7, 2023, through their proxies, waged war against that very nation. The same nations that the prophecy foretold would all be part of the invasion of Israel have now all had a part in that very thing— an invasion of Israel.
Iran’s hatred of Israel isn’t just a coincidence, it is part of an ancient prophecy. Cahn writes:
The prophet Daniel was taken captive from Israel into Babylon. There, in the royal court, he would receive prophecies from God concerning the end of days. While standing by the Tigris River he saw a “man,” an angel, who had been sent to him with a prophetic revelation. The angel said:
“Do not fear, Daniel, for from the first day that you set your heart to understand, and to humble yourself before your God, your words were heard; and I have come because of your words. But the [Sar Malkhut Paras] withstood me twenty-one days.”
The angel tells Daniel that he would have come earlier but was prevented from doing so by another entity. The entity is identified in Hebrew as the Sar Malkhut Paras. The word sar can be translated as prince, head, chief, ruler, captain, keeper, steward, lord, or master. The word malkhut means kingdom. And the word Paras, as it appeared in Ezekiel 38, means Persia. Persia, at that time, was at the height of its power, having just established its empire across the Middle Eastern world.
What kind of entity was the Sar Paras? It had battled against an angel. That would make it a spiritual entity. That which engages in battle against an angel of God is evil. It was an angel of darkness. The Sar Paras is a demonic entity….
This unique demonic entity is linked to a particular nation—Persia. The title Sar Paras may be translated as Prince of Persia, or the Persian Lord and Master of Persia. As Persia became Iran, the entity may be called the Ruler of Iran, the Iranian Lord, or the Lord and Master of Iran. Thus it seeks to control the nation of Persia, Iran, to lead it, impel it, drive it, and use it as the instrument of its purposes.
Spirits do not die. Thus the Sar Paras did not perish in ancient times—it still exists. And since it specifically wars against the nation of Israel and God’s end-time purposes for that nation, what would we expect to happen with the return of Israel to the modern world and the Jewish people to Jerusalem? We would expect that it would trigger and reactivate the Sar Paras and his ancient war.
We are not just witnessing bravery from the United States and Israel as Iran calls for destruction. We are witnessing an ancient spiritual battle come to life.
