You’ve been taught to apologize for wealth. To downplay it. To feel guilty about wanting it. As if poverty is more righteous. As if lack proves humility.
But that’s not Scripture. That’s religion. Wealth isn’t the problem. Wealth in the wrong hands—or wealth without assignment—that’s the problem.
Because in the right hands, wealth is a weapon.
Deuteronomy 8:18 says, “But remember the LORD your God, for it is he who gives you the ability to produce wealth, and so confirms his covenant.” God doesn’t give you the ability to produce wealth so you can retire early and live comfortably.
He gives it to you to establish His covenant on the earth. That means your income isn’t just personal provision. It’s Kingdom ammunition.

Every dollar you steward is a bullet in the war against darkness.
It funds the mission. It builds the infrastructure. It finances the advance.
Proverbs 13:22 says, “A good person leaves an inheritance for their children’s children, but a sinner’s wealth is stored up for the righteous.”
There’s a transfer happening. Wealth is moving from those who hoard it for selfish gain to those who will deploy it for Kingdom purposes.
But you have to be ready to handle it.
Not with guilt. Not with apology.
With stewardship, strategy, and the understanding that God doesn’t hand you a weapon so you can hang it on the wall.
He gives it to you so you can use it.
Wealth is a weapon in the right hands.
Make sure yours are.
